The long-awaited Call of Duty patch doesn't appear to be too far away now, iwnation have a little snippet where they asked one of the guys at IW what the status was, it all boils down to the fact that they found a few bugs in the patch and had to Re-submit it after ironing it out a little. No date can be given cos now it is out of their hands, I don't think it'll be too long.
Better support than EA ever gave MoHAA anyway.

To be honest I don't think this patch will have Punkbuster included, maybe in the next one though. I DO know that they are looking at the cheats currently out there so maybe they're incorporating something from "in house" themselves with this patch. I certainly hope so.

As long as the patch can cut down on the wallhacking scum that I have come across the last few nites. Pitty it doesnt do something about the camping biatches cookin beans and egg on a stove!

I was talkin to Jodo about making a post to inifinityward about adding the choice when you host a server of setting the question marks in circles for people if they stay in one location for longer than 30 seconds for all gametypes but Typhoid didn't think they'd do that so I decided not to do anything, you'll just have to put up with the campers same as always I guess

can we not just vote the campers off ?

whilst i agree that campers can be a pain in the arse, some maps and in certain conditions camping is essencial for sniping so it wont always be as simple as kicking it comes down to common sence so if the person is camping all the time with weapons other than snipers and continues to do it why not give them a warning first it would be good protcol ..... and then kick em |cop| |devil3| |devil4|

I totally agree Hairy... that's (meant to have) always been our policy - so people, when the server comes, remember to do exactly that. Tell em to move their asses before you boot em.

Also keep in mind that some game types DO require more 'static' play. Behind enemy lines is a fine example, with TS heading the camper paradise.

I agree with hairy too, at least one sniper needs to be deployed on some of these maps whilst the others do the run and clear. Its only tactical, it starts to get brown and smelly when the entire map hides with sniper rifles. (works well on the big snowy map - cant remember what its called!)

I've not really had too much of a problem, its bstards sitting on the inside of doorways and fragging you when you come in that peeeeees me off !!!
