Hello,
I recently installed Windows XP on my shuttle (which makes me feel dirty!!), and went to get Rivatuner workin on it - but for some reason it won't set the refresh rate in Mohaa at 75hz like it used to in Windows 2000.
Anyone got any ideas, or other products that I can use. I know that Powerstrip does the job, but it needs to be registered.
Cheers,
JT

I'll ask the missus shortly, she runs XP on a normal desktop PC but uses RivaTuner and it definetly works. She has a problem with the screen being Red on mohaa until she uses this utility.

riva tuner is what I use m8 and its also what TS was usin when I had to set his PC so he could use BF1942 if u recall, the prob with rivatuner is it aint updated often enough and it may not be compatible with the graphics driver version that you're using

The driver for this nvidia card is the same as I used in windows 2000 (cos it's an XP/2k combined driver). I dunno why it doesn't work - but it doesnt.

goddamn n00b!
Have a look on www.guru3d.com, theres some links to some other programs on there which also do the same job seeing as you're having problems, there stuff like refreshlock or nvidia something or other, my memory is a bit hazy
so just look on there, I'd like to point out that I never liked powerstrip, it caused nothing but trouble for me

Ah, it's cool. Goldie mailed me the following link, and this utility doesn't mess around. Just sets it once, and thats it (in windows and games).
Sweet deal.

Well, I would - but the chances of me ever playing it are pretty slim. I don't think as much of it as everyone else seems to.
I did however, complete Tron 2.0 today. Naff ending, but a thoroughly worthwhile game to be honest.
Sorry. Thats off-topic!
