Bad news...

[Red Plague]

As i write this, i do so with 1 hand and a dizzy head so firgive the typing...

On fri night i suffered a fall on the road into the kerb, which shattered my left elbow in 4 places, with one of my bones penetrationg the skin (freeky sight). I was sober. I was taken to hospital and went into surgery on sat morning, my elbow was reconstructed using metal plates. I have now been sent home and am in little pain, but my left arm will loose 5% mobility and the nerves in my fingers have been affected. I am not how much power i will regain and only hope my fingers get full strength back. Thy are hopeful i will but i have been warned to expect a long recovery.

This obviously means my gaming days are, for the immediate future, over. I hope to try and see what my fingers are like in a few days but currently my elbow is too weak to support my arm.

Obvoiusly lans are out but i hope to get to work in a week or so.

with my nerve's in my hand still have no full strength and no feeling in my hand

Well I am just back from the hospital, they removed the metal staples used to hold patch me up and they are happy with my progress.... the arm seems to be moving better and fingers are starting return to normal.

My wee finger still is numb and I got some pins and needles but bar that they sem ok. I am still on heavy pain killers but on the mend. Will take about 4 - 5 weks fors my elbow the knit but things are lookin up.

So i should be good for lans next year and hope to have a bash at cod when its released.
