Were you guys in the same war as us, when we were german we camped/defended. And when we were allies we came out and attacked the **** out of you end of story. Johnny Lightning is ok but the rest of your clan are just crying becuase we beat u hard, both maps. Yes we are/were friendly with your clan, and at the end of the day we learnt by ourselves so plz stfu wit all the "we taught you everything u know" talk bcoz it really does annoy me

Mhyv end of the day m8 your opinion is that BAF blow, so if your that good you should have kaned us but....u didnt

Your clan is trying to uphold the utmost respect for other clans but when we change our style a little bit you complain. Not all clans come out all guns blazing, you couldnt handle our game style and you lost m8 deal with it.

I know this has ben a long time coming but i wanted to wait for things to settle down a bit before posting my views otherwise it would have ended up like this |chat| and no-one would have heard each others points of views.

Well i wasnt in this match,

But as my opinion stands camping it up is a crap tactic and a tactic that is put in place by clans that cant win the 1v1's and it takes 2,3 of there men to take down one person.

Now iv played against u BaF lot quite a few times. I dont know exactly what went on in that game except.....The pull back and just camp tactic was implied.

Now what enjoymen does this bring to the game?

Iam sure u havent seen us just lay,crouch in one part of the map all map to take a win....Infact we have never even done it in clanbase war...Hell yeh we'v deffended off whole sections of a map....But then we follow throu (Like a vindaloo) with a counter attack.

Now if ur clan wants to just play every game camping it up as u cant win on the proper battle field. Then t.b.h your clan aint much is it.

Now iam going to have a chat wit jt and a few of the other guys....

Do you fancy a official clanbase war to sort this out?

Sure try to camp it up....But dont feel safe coz i'll be sent in to f*ck you up!

Coldie, ya twat. Your post almost started out sensible.....

I believed from the reports of all the guys who played, that in this instance BAF camped the whole game - not just as German. Even when the game was in progress, I could hear on comms that they were saying stuff like that too.

I think the problem came in, that they expected a certain 'level' of game. We were used to playing a run-around and it was always a good bash... everyone shootin everyone. So when the change came, it was exaggerated by the fact that it was a contrast to how you used to play. And dont get us wrong, almost all clans on CB at the moment are turning to a similar tactic to get the win, but Coldie is right... it doesn't make for a 'game' to sit around waiting.

An example was that we played a clan the other day. Nice guys actually. We played four rounds of Harbor. On the first entire round, they didnt move once. So as a test, when it was our turn we just sat too. Some of us went to make tea ffs!! Nobody moved. In 12 minutes of a 15 minute round, nothing happened. So the way I see it, camping clans are exploiting the fact that the other team WANT to have fun. While they dont move, they have the advantage, so if the other team want enjoyment, they MUST move.

Although temperatures were heated after the game, I don't think anyone should have gone as far as they did. I do urge you though, to at least remember the type of game we used to play - and compare it to the type of tactic you use now.

The way I look at it I don't think any of our guys were out of order or harsh etc. You guys were friends or whatever, I read that you were leaving TDM and going to S & D, so why for one match did you play a tactic that you yourself have slagged off before against us your supposed allies? If that was your last match in TDM for a while then what was the point in trying to screw us like that and then say that we're out of order? I think that the skill-level has balanced out now tbh, every match I've been involved in this week has been the same; sit in a room etc with all guns pointed at the door, what JT said about that clan camping for an entire round was true, during that map I poured a cup of tea, rolled a Joint, smoked it, cabbaged out. During that time not one shot had been fired, unenjoyable waste of time. I don't bother with CoD anymore in matches if this is what its come to, TDM isn't about camping, its about getting more kills than the enemy and playing a good, solid, high-pressure game. Camping doesn't do that, its lame, and putting a label of "tactics" on it is a weak excuse.

It is a sad fact that camping is seen as a tactic in any online game, Yes you do need to some sort of fall back and gather your troops. But Then you work towards a counter attack. Always pound your enmy.

The best form of deffence is offence!

Who ever heard of a war where one side "JUST" camped it up...o.f.c not they did sommat to start it :) - And CoD is supposed to be a realizm game ffs!

The failure to make any kind of meaningful attack, sortie or flanking manoeuvre is a sad camp2win reflection of a team that is too coward-like to risk losing a game because they invest too much teenage pride in the outcome. Moreover when this tactic is employed by a clan that should realise that the gameplay against a friendly clan is more important than the outcome then the other clan is going to feel like its wasted its time and could have played any unknown clan in the ladder and so sours relations.

I still hate these people who say its tactics etc and its realistic that way. Well News Flash for you here: its not . The way to win a war is conquest and the expansion of your territory, tell me how much you'd take by sitting there and never moving? I'll bet its nothing, you'd lose the war, and that is realistic.

I'd be willing to give a demonstration to the guys in BAF. I propose we hold another little game. This time, we pre-agree that the {BA} guys will do nothing but camp - and the BAF guys must continually attack. It's the only way that we can show you what it's like to be on the other side of that.

I think I was in that one? - not sure the aging Brain does goes to sleep etc very quickly.. what I do remember is running around like a lunatic trying to find like minded b******s to kill- only I kept getting smoted on stairwells by people in sleeping bags with Primus stoves cooking Campbells Meatballs & Potatoes.... F**k me I thought- a virtual Butlins.

I do remember it being one of the most annoying/boring Games ive played in yonks- and not the friendly I was expecting... and the Lemming syndrome (ie me running into a static hail of bullets)- soon grew tiresome.

TBH this whole situation reminds me of the BA vs DMW quarrel back in the days of MOHAA, for the benefit of our new members and the BAF members, I'll explain, DMW used to play an extremely aggressive gametype charge,charge,charge, combined with very co-ordinated teamplay and covering each other with nades. The result was the first 4 times BA played them, BA lost but they kept wanting rematches cuz they loved to play them, it was a guaranteed all out action match with no boring spots, the next couple of matches BA won and then DMW switched from a MOHAA TDM clan to a MOHAA realism clan all of a sudden and when BA next challenged DMW to a standard TDM game, they played it exactly like a realism Objective match, they all camp up in one room and sit and wait, they don't move a muscle, which as you can probably imagine bored everyone to tears, raised tempers by a considerable degree and I think we lost a couple of clan members at that time too.
Now if you want to play a different gametype that uses a different gamestyle thats fine, but don't go ruining the other gametypes that are meant for action ie TDM by applying S&D gameplay to a TDM match, all its gonna do is completely ruin the game for the regular TDM players who look forward to an action packed match.

I reckon BAF are all mouth... but then, what do you expect from a bunch who have barely grown pubes yet.

You have to have played in the team game to understand what it's like. But the point you're missing, is that these people used to be good players. Now they camp to win.

We can beat them either way - the only reason they won is because we expected them to play a REAL game and move about.

Doesnt matter anyway. They are too pu$$y to rematch regardless.

Both teams obviously were playing for different purpose, but there are other factors to look at. Although we can understand the sad campy nature of a team who cannot win in any other way, there is a specific gametype for that sort of play (Search and destroy). That **** should not spill out into TDM - because that isn't how TDM is meant to be played.

Besides which, these kids who think they are good at this game, actually HAVE to camp to win. They wouldn't stand a chance playing TDM the way it's meant to be played - and I think they know that, considering they never once beat us playing it in the usual way.

Ladbrokes odds on BAF to beat BA Alpha are 2000/1. Hardly value for money them odds. Mind you they are odds on favourites to be less exciting than watching paint dry.
