Huge grats to those involved last night in getting Sindragosa down - I know some of you have spent a few weeks, a good of amount of gold and a reduction of sanity getting that fight down to plan and all that hard work was in evidence last night when I joined in.

Badacid is within spitting distance of a full clear - Just Putircide and LK to go. Our few attempts on Putricide last night were very promising and this guy will likely go down on the next evenings raid - of this we are confident. The Lich King is close.. he's sweating and Badacid is poised to remove his crown.

It had to happen eventually... the {BA} clan are getting their shit together again for another I series LAN event. Okay, so most of them never stopped - but some of us older (more busy) ex clan members are also going. Here's the list so far....

Looks like it could be a really good blowout. But you can certainly tell we're getting old. No more camping for us... anyone who wants to join the party, please come along! Oh - a lot of us are staying at the Hilton (centre) in Newbury.

Blizzard continued with their phased release of instance content to the public with the final section of ICC and a chance to confront the Lich King once and for all, which will bring this expansion to a conclusion. This content is now at the top end of the game, but whereas unlike previous end game content, this is slightly more accessible to the masses with more readily available badge loot, a higher subscriber base can get a chance to feel the frozen chill.

In some ways this is good commercial sense - the percentage of players that got to experience Naxx in vanilla was extremely low with the majority stuck in Molten Core and if they were lucky some Blackwing Lair. Blizz will want to carry as many over to Cataclysm as possible. But its also a shame, not for the elitistism cries of "everyone should work hard to earn the right" but because it renders a perfectly good and challenging instance redundant. Ulduar was a well worked and crafted raid environment. Some will point to the fact that you can still go back and do the hard modes on your over-geared toons which is true ... but I think most would rather spend their time in ICC and get new content chalked off.

How far will guilds progress in ICC will be interesting to observe. The masses will get the first three down - In each fight there is no real threat, and just seem like gearchecking - the instance really starts at Saurfang.
